Experience counts! Our two directors, David Thomas and Gill Lardner, have over 60 years combined experience in the industry; Gill has been selling in the local area for over 35 years and our Romiley Office opened in the summer of 2010.
Both directors continue to work at Romiley and oversee all marketing, negotiations and transactions – our experienced team understand the pressures and stress involved in a house move and try to offer a degree of flexibility and service that many more corporate agencies fail to deliver. We care deeply about our customers’ experience of buying and selling property, which can often prove to be a stressful time. We are proud of the level of repeat business, returning customers and recommendations that we receive.
During the selling and buying process, our customers can expect regular marketing feedback and advice to ensure the property remains current and appealing. To accommodate the busy lives many people lead, we stay open longer than most other offices. We don’t provide false extended hours by re-directing calls to a remote message taking facility. We are generally open from 8:30am to 6:30pm during the week and all day Saturday. We regularly agree sales on a Saturday afternoon when many Estate Agents are closed!
Be seen and stay seen. In a crowded market we know how important it is to stand out. We have comprehensive coverage in the area and our targeted marketing will bring the right results for our customers.
Our high street location, with its large corner window displays gives us maximum visibility. High quality photographs present each property in the best possible light.
In addition to featured displays on Rightmove, we feature on a number of property websites in addition to our own site, local community publications and a number of social media sites including Twitter.
Our own website, and other leading portals, provide instant email alerts of new instructions to thousands of waiting potential buyers and tenants. As well as our online presence, we believe in the personal touch and provide an accompanied viewing service.
We also make floor plans available for each property as we know a lot of buyers find this even more useful than the property descriptions.
A more recent addition to our marketing package is the completion of a video tour of our properties which not only prove extremely popular with house hunters but can also help avoid unnecessary time wasting viewings from unmotivated applicants.
At Thomas Lardner we don’t over-value properties in order to win instructions. Similarly, we will not under-value to ensure a quick sale. Every valuation is supported by detailed comparable evidence of recent sales and currently available properties along with our unrivalled local knowledge.
